IT Desktop Supporter - Google Gsuite experience

For one of our clients, specialized in the pharmaceutical area with HQ in Basel, we are looking for an IT Desktop Support Analyst with previous experience in ticketing system and Google Gsuite.

This is a challenging contracting position starting in August 2020 until the end of the year.

Responsibilities:

  • Working with the given Tickettool Service Now and company-owned Asset Management Tools
  • Progressing of Incident and Request Management Tickets according process
  • Progressing Asset Management Updates according process
  • Participation at IT Welcome Zone Shifts (5 hours, 2-3 times per week)
  • Experience with and understanding of other technology domains, methods, etc. and their interactions.
  • Implementation and coordination of hardware, software, network component installations
  • Creating and maintaining of knowledge articles, operational manuals, user guides and checklists.
  • Follow-up on hardware, software, network problems and initiation of the corrective actions and escalation procedures.
  • Performing short training-/consultancy sessions for up to 20 end users.
  • Contribution in continuous Improvement processes
  • Represent Digital Workplace Services in Project Status meetings

Must Haves:

  • 5+ years of experience working in a global Matrix organization in a regulated environment
  • Strong know how of the Google GSuite and Windows 10 in an Active Directory Environment
  • Apple iOS/MAC knowhow, experience with Mobile Device Management
  • ITIL Foundation (v2 or higher)
  • Customer friendliness and good communication and presentation skills in English and German
  • Fluent in written and spoken English and German language
  • Experience working in an Agile environment
  • Experience with ServiceNow (Ticketing System)
  • Experience as IT Trainer
