NextLink solutions is looking for a IT Desktop Support Analyst to work in Basel, Switzerland for a 6 month contract(possible extension) for a multinational client. We are a Swiss IT Consultancy Company that has been providing both IT services and IT staffing to major customers for the past 20 years, has an excellent opportunity that can take your career to the next level.

Tasks & Responsibilities: Working with the given Tickettool Service Now and company-owned Asset Management Tools
Progressing of Incident and Request Management Tickets according process
Progressing Asset Management Updates according process
Participation at IT Welcome Zone Shifts (5 hours, 2-3 times per week)
Experience with and understanding of other technology domains, methods, etc. and their interactions.
Implementation and coordination of hardware, software, network component installations
Creating and maintaining of knowledge articles, operational manuals, user guides and checklists.
Follow-up on hardware, software, network problems and initiation of the corrective actions and escalation procedures.
Performing short training-/consultancy sessions for up to 20 end users.
Contribution in continuous Improvement processes
Represent Digital Workplace Services in Project Status meetings

Must Haves:
5-7 years of experience working in a similar position in a global Matrix organization in a regulated environment (*)
Advanced know how of the Google gSuite and Windows 10 in an Active Directory Environment (Know-how in gSuite will be tested during the interview) (*)
Apple iOS/MAC knowhow, experience with Mobile Device Management (*)
ITIL Foundation (v2 or higher) (*)
Fluent in written and spoken English and German language (*)
Experience in a customer facing role
Customer friendliness and good communication and presentation skills in English and German
Open minded, flexible personality
Eager to learn & develop
Sophisticated appearance
Teamwork skills

Nice to haves:
Experience working in an Agile environment
Experience with ServiceNow (Ticketing System)
Experience in Project Management
French language skills
Experience as IT Trainer
