Brine SA is looking for a Process Engineer (Senior) for our Client in Basel.
Job Title: Process Engineer - Technical Project Manager
Job Purpose:
To provide technical expertise with knowledge across Operations Management Systems (OMS/Emerson Syncade MES) and Project Management. Working within a Matrix team and coordinating activities and priorities in regards to the OMS implementation across several different stakeholder groups. Ensure the implementation of a GMP compliant operational OMS within project timelines.
Major Accountabilities:
1. Technical Project Management
2. Ensure that the project is being executed according to schedule, regular progress reporting and identifying risks, whilst bringing practical solutions to mitigate risks.
3. Coordination of activities across local implementation group as well as remote project implementation groups.
4. Collaboration with the DCS automation group to ensure a tight integration between the OMS and Emerson DeltaV DCS recipes are achieved.
5. Collaboration with the IT project group for defining, preparing and testing interfaces of the OMS to relevant MII/SAP and other IT related systems (ie AGU Smartline Data Cockpit, Teklynx Label Printing Software).
6. Ensure design and implementation complies with statutory and corporate HSE, cGMP and other regulatory requirements; Ensure Validation and Qualification are met; Approve plant/equipment/automation and OMS specifications; Author User Requirement Specifications (URS) and other requirements, definition and guidance documents; Ensure the OMS meets the requirements of the biotechnical and manufacturing operational process; Support process risk analysis, HAZOP's and FME(C)A's studies through the identification of health, safety and environmental impacts and the definition of mitigating solutions and/or improvements; Provide leadership and guidance to the OMS team, coordinate and facilitate information exchanges with other disciplines to optimize delivery efficiency and prevent and remove obstacles and potential blockers that would introduce potential delays.
Ideal Background:
- Minimum 10 years' experience as a Project Manager or Lead Engineer deploying automation in the BioTech manufacturing industry
- Graduate in relevant discipline (Automation/Process Engineering)
- Working knowledge or at least good understanding of Emerson Syncade OMS
- Language: Good written and spoken English is essential. German speaking would be an Advantage
- Leadership Skills (interact and communicate as required and provide adequate training to the people).
- Good problem solving and stakeholder management skills required
-Analytical skills (ability to analyse processes in order to increase efficiency and productivity).
- Safety/Environmental/cGMP (ensures compliance with all regulations).
