Drug Product Engineer - Downstream Processing (m/f/d)

Duration: 12 MM+
Main tasks:
- Design Visual Inspection Qualification Program for the manual inspection program
- Design, Qualification, Validation and Maintenance of equipment that supports Drug Product manufacturing and new Technology within Downstream Processing.
- Work with other colleagues from around the network evaluating best practices in other areas
- Support the development of Batch Documentation for DP Manufacturing.
- Execute Batch Document / Run Equipment on the Process floor in coordination with other members of the team (Setup, Filling, Visual Inspection).
- GMP Documentation, such as Batch Records, Sampling Plans, SOPs, Changing and Investigations.
- Managing of Inventory and Spare Parts
- Evaluation of innovative technology to optimize manufacturing processes, leading to business and/or quality benefits.
- Use of Lean Six Sigma tools to drive processing efficiencies on the manufacturing floor.
- Responsible for the area’s implementation of process changes, root cause investigation of deviations, CAPA identification and implementation.
- Collaboration with other department (VU, Analytical, Process Development, Automation, Quality) for routine and non-routine work.
- Support coordination of daily work schedules and effectively organize needed support groups by attending the Tier meetings
Main qualifications
- University degree (MSc/BSc) in Biology, Pharmacy, Process engineering, or another relevant discipline
- Previous work experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry
- Good knowledge of GMP and Sterile Manufacturing
- Familiarity with Biotech Manufacturing processes and a general understanding of Downstream Unit Operations
- Competent in analyzing complex situations and show practical problem solving capabilities
- Effective verbal or spoken communication skills
- Good communication skills in German and English
