My client is a Swiss bank with enviable reputation and for their Zurich office they are looking to hire an experienced Platform/ DevOps Engineer for their application platform.As a member of the Linux Application Platform Engineering Team, you are will be also responsible for the engineering and operation of the central application platform.
Tasks and responsibilities:
- Supporting the projects in the integration of their applications
- Supporting and advising projects in questions regarding: system architecture, integration,
- system automation, performance, security and analysis / diagnosis.
- Participation in infrastructure projects for the areas - WebSSO / WAF
- API gateway
- Electronic document management
Requirements (content, methodology):
- several years of experience as a software developer and with agile development methods
- DevOps mentality
- analytical and conceptual way of thinking
- independent and precise working methods
- readiness for on-call and working outside the usual working hours (evenings, weekends)
- resilient, team / customer-oriented and communicative personality
Requirements (technology e.g. Java, Linux etc.):
- Good developer knowledge in Java and Python
- Good knowledge of automated CI / CD pipelines and their tools - Sound knowledge of / in
- Linux / RHEL, Shell Scripting, Ansible, Git, Web & Application Server (mainly Java EE and SE)
- Network, DNS, load balancer, TLS / X.509, HTTP
- Extensive experience in the integration of software and the operation of application platforms and systems
Experience in the following areas is an advantage:
-API gateway, WAF, IBM WebSphere Application Server and
