Urgent Scala Backend Engineer/Developer - 6 MONTH CONTRACT - AKKA/Cats/Docker
Signify Technology is partnered with one of the leading companies in global financial security. They are in urgent need of a Senior Scala contractor to join the team on-site in Zurich ASAP.
The Role
You will be joining a small team of cross-functional engineers based onsite with the end client in Zurich. You will be responsible for building out the Back End platform for a new Infrastructure Security product being introduced to the Fintech industry.
- Working in a fast-paced, high demand environment
- Collaborate with different IT Units involved in Scala development and DevOps
- Contribute to all full-cycle - software and architectural design, test, maintenance, deployment etc.
Requirements
- Advanced experience in distributed applications Scala/Java
- Akka/Play
- Experienced in Cloud migration & deployment AWS
- Knowledge of DevOps & Continuous Integration
- Docker/Kubernetes
- Experience in Functional Libraries such as Cats, ScalaZ
