- Workload: 100% remote
- Work location: Switzerland
- Travel: 5%
Tasks & Responsibilities:
• Design and develop ergonomic and performant interactive data visualizations and UIs for advanced analytics, based on user requirements
• Architect and implement high quality code
• Collaborate effectively, solve problems fast, and write awesome source code
• Contribute to technical decision makings
• Ensure scalability of the platform to a cloud enterprise solution
Must Have Skills:
• B.Sc in Computer Science or similar discipline (****)
• +5 years professional data visualization software development experience (****)
• Highly proficient in D3.js, Typescript, JavaScript, CSS4 and HTML5 (****)
• Strong working knowledge of best coding practices (software craftsmanship, clean code, TDD/BDD/DDD, pair-programming) (****)
• Strong advocate of writing Unit and End-to-end tests (Cypress, Nightwatch, Puppeteer, Playwright, Codecept) (****)
• Experience with continuous integration/delivery ecosystems (Jira, GitHub, Jenkins)
• Strong analytical skills combined with conceptual thinking and structured working >• Ability to work in a multicultural geographically distributed team
• Strong communication skills
• Fluent in English
Nice to Have Skills:
• Experience with developing custom web components using Stencil.js or similar
• Good knowledge of one of the main UI frameworks (Vue, Angular, React)
• Working knowledge of cloud-based solutions (GCP, AWS)
• Previous working experience within an AGILE environment (ideally SCRUM)
• Affinity to good UX design, previous exposure to data analytics or data science projects
