For a project at our client's site, an international bank based in Zurich, we are looking for a


Senior IT Business Analyst / Product Owner - Portfolio Management System

In this challenging role, you will have the focus on three applications covering the Investment Process. You will be responsible for a wide range of tasks and requirements as well as budget gathering. Furthermore, you will be working closely with different stakeholders for the implementation of product requirements and collaborate with production support.



Your Qualifications:


  • Several years’ working experience as an IT Business Analyst within the Financial Services Sector

  • 5+ years of experience within the Asset/Wealth Management domain and key functions (Portfolio Management Systems or other Applications covering the Investment Process)

  • Understanding of key asset classes such as Equity, Fixed Income, FX and Derivatives as well as knowledge of investment decision making processes would be a plus

  • Familiar in leading requirements gathering, specifications, and UAT

  • Good MS Office, SQL, and HP Quality Center skills, as well as knowledge of MS Access, would be beneficial

  • Background in Project Management and Agile methodologies like Scrum is a plus

  • Proven track-record working with all levels of stakeholders including excellent communications skills

  • Fluent in English, German would be a plus



Your Responsibilities:


  • Act as Product Owner, manage the product roadmap, maintain and prioritize business requirements and work very closely with the Scrum Master and the Development Team in Poland on a daily basis

  • Responsible from vision to the development of the concept, to implementation of sound for new client-focused and value-adding product capabilities for the three applications within the project portfolio

  • Liaise with different stakeholders (Advisory Business, Investment Management, and Portfolio Construction) and understand, formulate, prioritize business requirements and translate them into specifications for IT

  • Support business users resolving day-to-day business issues and IT problems

  • Integration test planning and -execution and coordination of UAT with business and other applications

  • Maintain and enhance business requirements management and documentation
