Purpose of the Job
In line with IS & T strategy and standards, provide technical support to projects & application support and maintenance activities Level3.
Provide 3rd level support and coordination
Project management, standards and security compliance
Architecture and infrastructure knowledge
Work together with GITO and other suppliers to provide application support
Provide technical expertise for projects and application enhancements
Responsibilities
Provide 3rd level application support and coordination
Support the implementation of new releases
Develop and maintain all operational documentation and procedures
Provide performance metrics
Ensure take over from project to support in co-operation with the IT Project Manager
Train power/key and/or end-users
Propose actions for improving the delivery of services from a quality and cost perspective
Propose appropriate plans for self-training
Co-operate in the development and implementation of new standards, policies, guidelines
Ensure commitment to standards and processes, and KPIs
Assist the Delivery Group Manager and/or Solution Manager in any mission of his/her request (e.g. strategy, expertise, metrics, data)
Co-operate and manage IT projects (new Release, deployment, migration, improvement, compatibility)
Provide 3rd level support in line with ITIL v3 processes and other best practices
Act in the global support team to ensure 24x7 support
Educational Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
Minimum 4 years of experience with C/DMS products (Livelink and Documentum) and 8-10 years of IT experience.
Fluent English
German nice to have
Knowledge / Experience
Good knowledge in client/server architecture (especially with Livelink and Documentum)
Good knowledge in SQL and/or Oracle databases
At least 4-5 years of experience with Livelink and Documentum (SQL queries, Live and WebReports, HTML, IIS, SSL, Remote Cache, etc)
8-10 years of experience in IT environment preferably in international environment
Knowledge in ITIL service management process would be an advantage
