Paratus are moving more and more into the world of autonomous driving and what comes with that?? Clients that require our assistance, with that all in mind it is our pleasure to introduce a new position that if you're a simulations expert should be right up your street.
Our client is an autonomous automotive map provider and due to continued growth need a subject matter expert in the field of Simulations, are you that expert that is ready to lead from the front? The official title would be as a Simulations Manager, so prior experience is paramount within the field of Automotive.
If you have experience of level 4/5 autonomous driving & mapping that this will be a perfect match.
Responsibilities
- Scaling Simulation production to substantial levels to enable level 4 and 5 autonomous driving and commercialize
- Drive Core Simulation engine release targets and scope
- Define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Simulation products
- Understanding the pain points and needs of early users and customers
- Communicate deeply with Simulation leads and engineers
- Collaborate with industry-leading technical experts
- Identify and track key success metrics for your products and features
- Understand technical implementation at the architectural level and propose technical alternatives
Requirements
- Minimum of several years proven experience as a software-focused Manager
- Degree educated (BSc, MSc, PhD)
- Strong customer focus with experience driving primary research initiatives
- Measurable impact through the design, development and launch of next generation products.
- Solid technical aptitude and an ability to understand technical designs, challenges and risks
- Ability to work closely with engineers.
- Knowledge of technical architectures, full software development life cycle
- Experience working collaboratively with other product and functional teams
- Experience leading projects from inception to completion
- Start-up mentality, you are dedicated, agile and thrive on getting things done
- A valid drivers' license
- Strong experience in project management;
