Contract: Java Engineers/Developers (FX)

You will join a high profile project and contribute to the development using your excellent Java skills
You need to be able to work in a fast paced, high pressure environment
The challenge involves design and development, architecture and design of new components based on Java J2SE as well as Spring as an old existing system is going to be updated respectively extended
Furthermore, you will have experience of working with multi-threaded designs, distributed systems and efficient API design
Hands-on experience with profilng tools is also preferred
Previous work experience on client facing Foreign Exchange applications would be very advantageous
Must
• University degree in information technology / engineering
• Several years of profound experience in the programming / solution design / implementation of complex Java J2SE core applications in the banking industry – ideally within the field FX
• Full software development lifecycle knowledge
• Very good knowledge Spring, OSGI know-how
• FX and FX options knowledge, Nirvana, Linux, Unix (Solaris) using XML, MQ Series - more than welcome
• Fast thinker capable to learn on the fast track and to take over ownership and responsibility also for new things/ideas/initiatives
• Very keen in development interfaces to already existing applications (in-house developed as well as 3rd party solutions)
• Strong team player and ability to work in international, multicultural and heterogeneous teams
• Self-motivated, customer oriented, focused and structured
• Excellent English (written and verbally)
