NextLink is having an existing position as an IT Project manager for global pharmaceutical projects in Basel, Switzerland.
Background:
We are looking for an experienced IT Project Manager who will be responsible for leading and/or supporting cross functional IT projects and initiatives as well as change initiatives for Group Function IT and our Business Partners. You ensure all assigned activities are delivered in the most value optimized way, applying best fit project management methodologies, Agile delivery methods and Organizational Change Management principles. You will support internal Project Managers or manage projects/project streams and other initiatives independently.
This position has been opened due to the high workload of the team and the chosen candidate will be mainly assigned to projects/initiatives in the Group Legal IT area.
Focus for this position will be on a candidate with very good and proven background in IT Project Management and OCM and with excellent soft skills. The perfect candidate is a very flexible and self-driven personality, able to interact with stakeholders on different levels of the company and always focusing on bringing value to the business and the team.

Tasks and responsibilities
• Successfully delivering business solutions through value focused methodologies and practices
• Leading and managing IT projects and initiatives in business areas of Group Legal and others
• Leading, coaching and mentoring assigned resources in different structures like classical project teams, Scrum teams, self-organized teams, squads etc.
• Collaborating and supporting internal Project Managers with all activities related to project management
Must Haves
• 5+ years of experience as a successful IT Project Manager in a similar environment using structured project management processes and methodologies (*****)
• Agile practitioner with proven knowledge of Scrum / SAFe (*****)
• Strong understanding and experience in Organizational Change Management (*****)
• Proven experience in leading virtual off-shore teams (*****)
• Excellent communication, presentation, collaboration and interpersonal skills to manage conflicting interests and changing priorities within a complex environment.
• Open, agile and innovative mindset combined with curiosity, creativity and willingness to learn and contribute
• Excellent team player with a strong customer and value focus
• Self-driven with excellent ability to build relationships and establish networks across the organization
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
Nice to haves
• Project Management Certification (PMP or similar)
• OCM certification (Prosci)
• German language
