My Client, a Swiss Bank who is currently on an exciting growth curve are seeking a German speaking Java Developer FX Trading for an initial 9 month contract with a strong likelihood for extension to be based at their Zurich site.Key responsibilities will include:
- Participation in the development of our Java backend for forex trading (FX) in the areas of OMS, pricing and eTrading
- Implementation and adaptation of external trading interfaces
- Performance, memory and process optimization of the FX components
- Integration of technical algorithms and machine learning Requirements
- Advising the department on technical issues and implementation options
The successful incumbent will possess:
- Several years of practical experience in Java development are a prerequisite
- Experience in JavaFX is an advantage
- Practical experience in working with Linux systems
- Experience in trading systems including the FIX protocol, ideally knowledge of the OSGi framework is an advantage
- Conceptual way of thinking in the design and creation of components, models and microservice architectures
- Experience with Build Automation Tools and Continuous Integration
- Basic banking knowledge and interest in trading (trading) are preferred
- Good knowledge of German and English
