Beschreibung

My Client, a leading service provider for financial institutions who is currently on an exciting growth curve are seeking a VMware Engineer/Network Engineer for an initial 12 month contract with a strong likelihood for extension to be based at their Zurich site.

Key responsibilities will include:
  • To analyze |define and design technical solution for ERP product's enhancement and work towards continuous improvement during product implementation and production support stages
  • To interact with the client and other functional teams for gaining understanding of the requirements
  • To participate in team meetings
  • To train others and prepare and deliver presentations for knowledge sharing amongst different teams in the project
  • To coordinate with technical teams for pending RICEFs


The successful incumbent will possess:
  • Proven firewall design and implementation experience?
  • Experience with installing, configuring, and troubleshooting NSX environments?
  • Support the development of procedures and checklists?
  • Has software-defined networking knowledge with VMware NSX?
  • Define and analyse system requirements and develop specifications?
  • Strong experience in firewall technologies?
  • Understanding of network security methodologies, architecture, and best practice application?
  • Experience with firewall management system?
  • Able to use and create scripting in order to automate tasks and procedures on the network devices?
  • Familiar with agile methodology and concepts (Scrum, Kanban etc.)?
  • Nice to have: VMware Certified Professional (in Network Virtualization) (VCP-NV) bagde?
  • Nice to have: Check Point Certified Expert badge
