Scope of Work short description:
As a Network Architect, you will be responsible for the network of our enterprise. Your focus is to engineer and maintain a network that offers superior resiliency and low latency to provide clients with unmatched performance for best order execution bearing in mind our security and compliance requirements. You will take an active role in the entire technology life cycle; from design development, implementation, and commissioning, to routine monitoring, operation and trouble resolution.
Deliverables:
- Implementation and maintenance of networking and infrastructure application technologies. Support and maintenance of network infrastructures and their dependencies, through the application of industry best practices.
- Testing, coordination and implementation of both release-based and environment design changes.
- Management of service providers with an emphasis on efficiency and quality.
- Business-oriented customer relationship management with a focus on the high quality of service and clear communication.
Knowledge, Skills and Education:
- Proven network design and implementation experience
- In-depth knowledge of networking protocols and technologies
- Strong experience in BGP
- Understanding of network security methodologies, architecture, and best practice application
- Experience with any of the following: Cisco Routers, Switches, and security devices; Palo Alto, Check Point and
- Juniper security products; Arista networks; F5 application load balancers.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
- Understanding of voice, video, and multicast technologies
- Experience with the network management system
- TOGAF methodology aware (certification will be considered a plus)
- Familiar with agile methodology and concepts (Scrum, Kanban etc.)
