We have an immediate need for a Java Developer for a long term contract in Zurich. The role can be managed remotely but due to Swiss banking regulations, all candidates must be based in Switzerland.
Key Competencies:
- Financial Messaging expert (mainly SWIFT infrastructure and operation, not messaging formats)
- Java operational aspects (dealing with ears jars etc)
- Java development
- UNIX/Linux Scripting
- Platform maintenance
- Change Assessment & Management
Knowledge:
- Java
- Weblogic; FTPS; MQ; WebSphere Message Broker product knowledge
- TCP/IP & networking
- Oracle
- XML basic
- Process-oriented working mode
Must Have
- Experience on handling maintenance of mission critical environment.
- Experience on Java projects.
- Experience in Unix Shell script development/maintenance related project.
- Experience on MQ and related technologies.
- Deriving technical requirements from business requirements.
- Elaborating system specification for newly implemented functionalities.
Nice to Have
- Toolchain know-how is an asset (UACS, SDSS, JIRA )
- SWIFT infrastructure operational knowledge
- Knowledge of SWIFT Alliance Messaging Hub.
