Customer seeks an experienced, dynamic, driven and business-oriented strategic individual with strong communication and leadership skills to lead the Oracle ERP transformation programme which will deliver the NextGeneration ERP solution. Summary of assigned duties: · Provide leadership and coordinate the execution of the NextGen Programme and related projects, including the business stakeholder, functional, solution engineering and deployment work streams · Work closely with key stakeholders and demonstrate professional knowledge to ensure that the ERP products and delivery match requirements and expectations and are of the highest level · Lead the large-scale, global programmes for NextGen ERP · Lead teams of on-shore and off-shore resources to mobilize and deliver solutions · Deconstruct key business problems to identify key value areas, process improvements and structure and implement complex technology solutions · Handle the designated programme and associated projects through all relevant stages of the lifecycle from initiation through to closure and review, adhering to the relevant project lifecycle and governance · Deliver advisory services in support of technology-enabled business change (integrator selection, vendor selection, application studies, solution architecture, or program diagnostics and recovery) · Ensure the delivered programme will meet ongoing audit requirements · Be accountable for the planning and delivery of the associated projects to an agreed schedule and budget, adhering to the Project Management Lifecycle (based upon relevant standards including PMBOK, PRINCE2 and Agile) · Manage and control the overall scope, schedule budget, issues and risks of the programme and project(s) · Develop programme schedule, individual work packages, project documentation, project, resource and deployment plans and as well as required documentation · Coordinate the programme business stakeholders and delivery partners · Review and approve project deliverables and provide regular reporting to senior management. PROFILE Experience · Experience leading a technology enabled business transformation programme including the technology component, business change strategy and programme governance · Experience working with globally disbursed colleagues in an international organization context · Experience in managing remote (“off-shore”) suppliers and vendors to deliver against agreed schedules, deliverables and cost commitments · Experience with Oracle products and the delivery of complex Oracle programmes · Extensive knowledge and expertise in project management methodologies, tools, and best practices such as those defined by the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) and/or PRINCE2 · Experience with Agile software development methodologies (e.g. Scrum, Kanban) · Experience in onsite-offshore delivery model · Knowledge of enterprise and integration architectures · Consulting experience. Essential requirements · University degree in computer sciences, mathematics, engineering, or another ICT-related discipline · Overall 15+ years of experience of which 8 years of Programme Management experience with at least 2 of them being complex in nature. · 9+ Years of ERP experience - including complete project life-cycle experience as well as maintenance and enhancement responsibilities. · Cloud / NextGen ERP end to end project experience for a Global organization as Delivery Lead · Professional training and/or certifications in a recognized project management methodology such as PRINCE2 or PMP. Certification in ITIL v3 is an asset. · Excellent written and oral presentation skills. Personal Characteristics · Ability to lead extended teams and deliver quality results · Ability to elucidate complex topics, being persuasive on content and soft on the relation · Ability to drive the agenda for a complex program · Ability to work in an international environment and team · Ability to work independently on concepts and prototypes and at the same time within a team · Ability to adapt to the way of working within the UN system and be able to understand emergency related processes and particularities · Ability to identify needs and to provide innovative solutions. Language (s): English is required, and Knowledge of another UN language is an advantage.
