Senior Linux Server Engineer 100% (m/f/d)

Main tasks:
- Work as a member of the Server Engineering Team
- Design, implementation and maintenance of enterprise-class software and hardware in a Red Hat Linux environment
- Third Level Support
- Ensure best practice implementation of core server and infrastructure application technologies
- Support and maintain business-critical infrastructure applications
- Lead (test, coordinate and implement) changes related to new releases or design changes in cooperation with internal teams and external service providers
Main qualifications
- Profound experience as Linux Server Engineer
- Master's degree in IT or relevant technical discipline and/or relevant qualification in IT
- Good knowledge of backup solutions, ideally Avamar or NetWorker
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux systems administration experience
- Experience with systems management & provisioning using Red Hat Satellite 6 and Capsules
- Strong automation knowledge using Ansible and Ansible Tower
- Experience with configuration management using Puppet
- Knowledge of container technology and container orchestrator such as OpenShift
- Experience using Red Hat Identity Management
- Experience with systems monitoring (ideally Nagios and Prometheus) and with Scripting (ideally Python and Perl)
- Fluent in English
