Kubernetes DevOps Expert in Basel - PharmaBackground:
We are looking for a Kubernetes DevOps Expert who will be building out and supporting the EDISON (Enlightened Data Integration SOlutioN) Platform infrastructure, as well as monitor processes such as continuous integration, build infrastructure, and test automation. Our platform systems are written with the Java, Vue.js, MongoDB stack and deployed on GCP and AWS utilizing Kubernetes.
Role:
* Ensure high performance of the platform as it scales to a cloud enterprise solution
* Proactively collaborate with our lead developer and developers to design the deployment
* architecture necessary to meet the business requirements
* Developing and advancing the capabilities of our CI/CD pipeline
* Enhance monitoring tools, build infrastructure and automations
Requirements:
* M.Sc or B.Sc in Computer Science or similar discipline
* 4y+ of professional experience with deploying to production using Kubernetes and Docker container technologies on AWS or Google Cloud
* 4y+ of experience developing production grade Cloud infrastructure for applications written in Java and Vue.js or similar relevant technologies
* Strong understanding of best coding practices (software craftsmanship, clean code, TDD/BDD/DDD, pair-programming)
* Professional experience with CI/CD (GitHub, Jenkins)
* Strong analytical skills combined with conceptual thinking and structured working style
* Ability to work in a multicultural geographically distributed team
* Strong communication skills
* Fluent in English

* Experience with MongoDB
* Previous working experience within an AGILE environment (ideally SCRUM)
