Software Engineer vacancy for our globally operating Zurich based company in the financial sector.
Your experience/skills:
- 3+ years of software development experience in Java or similar technology
- Software development experience with Avaloq Banking suite as well as Oracle databases and PL/SQL
- Domain knowledge of the Financial Industry and investment in particular and a solid understanding of modern Front End development platforms
- Hands-on experience in Java, core Spring or Spring Boot, Restful APIs, web services and micro-services
- University degree or equivalent in engineering, preferably in computer science
- Languages: English, fluent in written and spoken
Your tasks:
- Designing solutions, prototyping and implementing of the investments focused digital platforms
- Progressing of software changes in various areas, including Avaloq parametrisation
- Defining technical requirements and design of effective digital based solutions
- Proving technical activities during release cycles
- Providing collaboration with internal resources with business stakeholders, change management or developers and where necessary, also with other resources from Natwest Group, to ensure fit-for-purpose end-to-end functionality
