For our client, a global Reinsurance company, we are looking for a Senior .NET Developer for a long term project in Zurich, Switzerland.
Senior .NET Developer
- Sector: Reinsurance
- Location: Zurich, Switzerland
- Duration: 12 months, extension planned
Our client is in the process of replacing its separate 1st-generation pricing tools with a unified tool, the Reinsurance Underwriting and Pricing Platform (Compass).
Project Team composition at present is:
- Product Owner
- Development team: Scrum Master, 4 developers, 2 testers
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and unit test required functionality according to PO specifications and priorities in an agile Scrum Team
Required Skills/Qualifications
- at least 5 years of experience as a Senior Developer, with broad exposure to the design and development of multi-tier/distributed architecture solutions
- worked for a financial organization, preferably for a pricing application
- Strong .NET skills
- must have worked with C#, WPF using the MVVM pattern
- must have experience working with TFS
- must have experience with WCF
- experience with MS SQL Server is desired
- experience working in an Agile team is desired
- Strong interpersonal, communication, analytical, and organization skills
- Ability to constructively interact with the Product owner, team lead and business community to gather and understand requirements
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
