For our client, a Swiss Bank, we are looking for a DevOps Engineer in Zurich for a 12 months project (extension planned).

Are you passionate about DevOps? Blue green deployments are more than just buzz words to you?
We are looking for someone like that to:
- Design and engineer repeatable configurations and deployments in a sensitive environment
- Trigger and monitor installation on test environments and manage installation instructions for production
- Integrate and deploy updates and fixes
- Investigate and resolve technical issues as Level 3 technical support in the area of Internet facing
applications - Engineering of the perimeter layer (DMZ) based on vendor products for reverse proxies,
web application Firewalls, authentication services, etc. - Provide the integration services for our Internet facing application landscape
- Provide consultancy and support to project teams with regards to technical questions
Your team:
As an expert in security and Internet technologies, you'll be part of our team in Zurich and working
closely with the internal project team and an external vendor. We integrate and enable Internet facing
applications (eg E-banking, Mobile Banking, Chat, etc.) in a demanding and exciting Digital Banking
environment.
You have:
- work experience as DevOps engineer or similar engineer role
- broad knowledge in the area of designing, deploying and configuring automation
- broad system engineering and security background in a large-scale enterprise
- development and architecture experience
- broad knowledge of distributed computing, web technologies, protocols and standards
- strong analytical, problem-solving and synthesizing skills (you know how to figure stuff out)
You know:
- Very good expertise in RHEL Linux and Solaris, Shell-/Perl-/Python Scripting
- Security Architecture, Network Technologies and Protocols
- Web Technologies (Tomcat/Apache, Reverse Proxy, Web Application Firewall, etc.)
- Ansible playbooks and roles for an orchestrated environment
- Dynamic staging and configuration management
You are:
- An IT person that is used to handle complex challenges using strong troubleshooting and root cause
analysis skills - Highly motivated, confident and capable of both working independently and across teams and
