IT Project Manager Data Governance in PharmaBackground:
Pharma Technical Development (PTD) is an organization of several thousand engineers and scientists globally, and is integral to Roche's mission to develop meaningful medicines for patients. For a variety of information management and process related projects we require to backfill internal resources with a Project Manager (PM) / Business Systems Analyst (BSA).
The PM/BSM will help to define and establish several exciting solutions in the area of document management and numerical systems integration. The PM/BSM will work with other team members in organizational change management, software development, master data management and governance, and Roche IT.
A solid understanding of technical systems design, implementation and operations of complex global platforms is required. All our projects are Agile, start small, rollout globally, and are developed with dedicated teams.
Role:
* Collect, clarify and manage business requirements in the knowledge management space
* Facilitate requirement gathering & exploration workshops
* Understand business needs and translating them into implementable requirements for dev team
* Participate in scoping clarification meetings with the dev team
* Work alongside the development team to formalize & document solution architecture
* Manage requirements catalogue ¬ideally with standard Roche tools
* Track & report progress on business requirements implementation
* Coordinate and track delivery of a small agile team (for the software development there are separate Scrum masters)
* Based in Basel / Kaiseraugst but working as part of development team distributed in Poland, and a business team in Basel
* Work with tester on test case definitions to ensure fitness for purpose
* Monitoring quality of functionality delivered and fitness for purpose
Requirements:
* 4-5 years of experience in IT related concepts, software development and IT infrastructure (no need to be a developer though)
* Flexible and dynamic personality with proven ability to steer small but complex projects across functions & sites
* Proven practical experience in data governance processes
* Ability to talk and understand both software developers and pharma business people
* Experience working in a pharmaceutical environment in a similar position / role
* Self-motivated and being able to identify issues and work independently
* Native in either German or English with a strong professional proficiency for the other language
