For a project at our client's site, an international bank based in Zurich, we are looking for a
ISTQB Senior Test Engineer - Tax Solution Application
In this project, you will have the chance to play a key role in the development of the new Tax at Source Service application.
Your Qualifications:
- Many years’ experience as Test Engineer with certification in ISTQB Foundation or Advanced level
- Proven record in test design and test execution of user acceptance tests
- Ability to cover BA / RE role as and when required
- Good understanding of financial instruments, securities, single accounts, FX and forward contract transactions processing incl. corporate actions
- Practical experience with Quality Center or comparable tools
- Knowledge in using tools like JIRA, Polarion, Enterprise Architect 9.x
- Flexibility to cover other roles (e.g. BA/RE, Testing) is a strong asset
- Banking-knowhow of US Withholding Tax would be highly desired
- Hands-on experience with automation testing would be desired
- Fluent in English, German is an asset
Your Responsibilities:
- Analyzing users stories and/use cases/requirements for validity and feasibility
- Develop test cases and prioritize testing activities
- Collaborate closely with other team members and departments
- Execute all the test case and report defects, define severity and priority for each defect
- Execute all levels of testing (System, Integration and Regression)
- Design and develop automation scripts when needed
- Detect and track software defects and inconsistencies
- Provide timely solutions
- Apply quality engineering principals throughout the Agile product lifecycle
- Provide support and documentation
