For a project at our client's site, an international bank based in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced
Senior Big Data Developer – Python / PySpark
In this position you will be partnering closely with subject matter experts and Stakeholders, where you will use machine learning techniques to work on solutions for transaction monitoring, client intelligence, employee surveillance and automated reporting.
The focus is on the credit risk calculations with future extension to market and non-financial risks.
Your Qualifications:
- Big Data developer profile with strong skills using Python and PySpark
- Solid understanding of data platforms
- Experienced in analytics with a focus on distributed computing
- High integrity, responsibility, and confidentiality in dealing with sensitive data
- Active member of the agile and design thinking approach
- Fluent in English, German is an advantage
Your Responsibilities:
- Work in an agile environment in a Scrum team
- Develop solutions by following the design thinking approach
- Using state of the art data science infrastructure and technologies
- Do end-to-end development including front-ends
- Data processing, data management, implementing testing, aggregating data, calculating risk measures, creating data ontology
- Interact directly with subject matter experts and stakeholders to create the solutions
- Based on the seniority contractor will either co-work with an experienced data scientist on the tasks or be a fully self-reliant squad member
