For a project at our client's site, an international bank based in Zurich we are looking for a motivated
Junior Big Data Developer - Python / PySpark
In this position, you will be partnering closely with subject matter experts and stakeholders, and use machine learning techniques to work on solutions for transaction monitoring, client intelligence, employee surveillance, and automated reporting.
Your Qualifications:
- Junior Big Data Developer profile with first user knowledge of Python and PySpark
- Successfully completed studies in quantitative subjects such as mathematics or economics
- Good knowledge of analysing big data
- Quick learner and with an analytical way of thinking
- Open mindset would be desired
- Fluent in English, German would be a plus
Your Responsibilities:
- Work in an agile environment
- Develop solutions by following the design thinking approach
- Using state of the art data science infrastructure & technologies
- Do end-to-end development including front-ends
- Data processing, data management, implementing testing, aggregating data, calculating risk measures, creating data ontology
- Interact directly with subject matter experts and stakeholders to create the solutions
- Based on the seniority contractor will either co-work with an experienced data scientist on the tasks or be a fully self-reliant squad member
