For our client, a Swiss Bank, we are looking for a Security and Internet Technology Engineer for a 12 months project in Zurich, extension possible.
Security and Internet Technology Engineer
Are you passionate about security and Internet technologies? You find no rest until you understand the security implications of software and hardware?
We are looking for someone like that to:
- provide the integration services for our Internet facing application landscape
- engineering of the perimeter layer based on vendor products for reverse proxies, web application Firewalls, authentication services, etc.
- support our internal Digital Banking projects
- analyze outages and defective states, initiate and monitor measures to Remedy them (3rd level support)
- cooperate closely with Project Manager, Software Architect and 2nd Level Support
- perform installation on test environments and manage installation orders to production
- provide consultancy and support to project team with regards to technical questions
- maintain documentation relevant to operations (operation manual, installation guide, etc.) and share your knowledge among the team
Your team:
As an expert in security and Internet technologies, you'll be part of our team in Zurich and working closely with the internal project team and an external vendor. We integrate and enable Internet facing applications (eg E-banking, Mobile Banking, Chat, etc.) in a demanding and exciting Digital Banking environment.
You have:
- broad system engineering and security background in a large-scale enterprise
- knowledge of distributed computing, web technologies, protocols and standards
- strong analytical, problem-solving and synthesizing skills (you know how to figure stuff out)
You know:
- Linux/Unix, Shell-/Perl- Scripting
- Security Architecture, Network Technologies and Protocols
- Web Technologies (Tomcat/Apache, Reverse Proxy, Web Application Firewall, etc.)
- You are:
- An IT person that is used to handle complex challenges using strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
- Highly motivated, confident and capable of both working independently and across teams and functions
- A strong written and verbal communicator, comfortable interacting with colleagues in English and German
- Aware of challenges of a complex IT infrastructure and constraints in an international company
- Committed to excellence and quality, thriving for finding the best and simplest solutions
- Motivated and a self-reliant person known for delivering in time
