Are you a Charles River IT Project Manager looking for a new challenge? For our client in the financial services industry in Zurich, we are looking for you to be part of the Global Markets IT team.
Charles River IT Project Manager
Key Responsibilities:
- to manage the project from e2e
- to meet the deliverables within the expected timeframe
- to liaise with different stakeholders (eg Front/Middle Office) and drive the project forward
- to take ownership from development of concept to implementation of sound, client-focused and value-adding capabilities
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- 10+ years demonstrable history working within the Asset Management/Wealth Management domain with all key functions (front-, middle- and Back Office, compliance, accounting, reporting)
- 7+ years working as a Project Manager
- Must have worked with Charles River previously
- Good technical understanding of Charles River IMS or similar platform(s) - eg Markit thinkFolio, Simcorp Dimension, Advent AXYS, etc.
- In depth knowledge of business processes and regulatory requirements (eg. MiFID, EMIR, FinfaG, FIDLEG, etc.)
- Proven track-record working with senior stakeholders (eg compliance officer, trading desk, Middle Office, and Portfolio construction leads)
- Understanding of key asset classes: Equity, Fixed Income, Exchange Traded Derivatives
- Understanding of investment decision making processes and strategies
- Demonstrable experience leading user acceptance testing
- Very strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- You are able to work under pressure with a high level of flexibility and to handle multiple challenging priorities and assignments with a can-do approach
- Delivery management
- Good SQL skills in order to execute some testing activities
- German is an advantage
Location: Zurich
Contract Duration: 12 months
