SCRUM Master - Data Warehousing / BI - This is a long term contract opportunity to join a globally operating Basel based company in the financial sector.Your experience/skills:
- Scrum Master with practice in sprint scheduling
- Expert Knowledge of data warehousing, dimensional data modelling and OLAP database
- Proficiency in business intelligence
- Familiar with SDLC procedures and creating technical documentation
- Languages: English, fluent in written and spoken
Your tasks:
- Supporting moving the product to full production state by coordinating operational support and sprint activities between IT and business as well as managing the resilience of the product
- Fulfilling the role of the scrum master for the technical team including coordinating and participating in daily stand-up meetings and confirming that sprint schedules as well as capacities are correctly reflected
- Ensuring that the TFS backlog is up-to-date and that production issues are dealt with on time
- Provide communication to business users regarding issues such as production outage and delays along with conducting weekly user meetings in order to keep users updated on the sprint progress
- Coordinating user acceptance and production releases including ensuring user sign-off is acquired pre-release and change management process has been followed up
- Developing technical documentation for key processes and complexities of the BI system
