UI Developer (Front End, JavaScript, React) vacancy for a globally operating Zurich based company in the financial sector.
Your experience/skills:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent education
- Experience in developing and designing expressive, attractive and easy to use UI coupled with a background in UX
- Excellent knowledge of the JavaScript language and JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular etc.
- Knowledge of Typescript, latest ECMAScript standards and of building task runners with Webpack, Gulp and Grunt is beneficial
- Good understanding of W3C web standards along with the ability to build sites using semantic mark-up and CSS, knowhow of SASS and LESS is a plus
- Familiarity with Git and with dealing with Back End codebase
- Strong problem solving skills with a Can - Do attitude
- Languages: English, fluent in written and spoken
Your tasks:
- Developing the user interface and service layer of a trading application, focusing on the Front End
- Collaborating closely with business and IT departments on designing suitable solutions for a complex trading environment
- Promoting good coding practices and driving a solid architecture while helping less senior team members to achieve those standards
- Ensuring the delivery of high quality results in agreed timeframes and taking ownership of the code
