The large and complex System Integration IT project in Public Sector managed a turn around from a troubled project into a most successful one. Fostering a close collaboration between client, local - and remote offshore team in India and a straight scope management were the driver for this
success. Although a Pilot Release of this system is rolled out in production, other functional aspects planned for major future releases are still in specification phase. To cover these demanding activities the candidate must be able to understand complex business requirements and show a
deep technical knowledge
Task Description:
Our team is responsible for the implementation and delivery of complex and mission critical workflows using the UC4 job scheduler. We develop, test, support and deliver the complete UC4 jobnet of various applications, developed by local and remote offshore teams. The jobnet contains more than 300 Unix and SAP batch jobs. Our team is also responsible for the delivery
and support of the infrastructure to execute Unix scripts and J2EE batch programs using
the the UC4 job scheduler. The candidate must possess a strong understanding of job scheduling best practices and methodology, is self motivated, highly technical and self
managed, and is able to work in a globalenvironment.
Skills:
- Good knowledge and experience of UC4
- Batch Scheduling Software to define and implement job definitions in UC4
- Knowledge of Unix scripting (Korn Shell)
- Strong technical, organizational, written and oral communication skills in a global
environment are required.
- Knowledge of Java and J2EE
- Some experience with complex System
- Integration IT projects would be an asset
- Fluent English and German knowledge
