Software V&V EngineerDuration: 6 months

Activities, Duties, Task and Responsibilities
Position Summary:
As member of the Verification and Validation team, the Software V&V Engineer will be responsible for the Verification and Validation of medical devices with embedded Software or Web based Application in order to ensure their safe and effective functionality before and after commercial launch.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- The Verification and Validation of the embedded software driving contrast media injectors and web based application
- The development of CAN Connectivity Automation Test
- Products and systems design verification and validation activities (V&V plan, protocols and reports. test methods validation)
- Support sustaining activities: tests related to NCs, ECFs, CAPAs
- Maintenance of the DHF and the DMR (design V&V related documents, design transfer documents, production test methods)
- Maintains and improves quality, reliability and safety of client's software products,
- Reports and provides workload estimations to the Project Manager.
Mandatory Professional Experience/Knowledge
- Software Engineering, Computer Science Engineering or Telecommunication Engineering degree
- Required software development best practices
- Environment: MS Visual Studio targeting Windows Compact / Embedded / Standard
- Language: C, C++, VB.NET, C#
- Source version control (SVN, GIT)
- Windows forms, WCF are an asset
- Proven experience with automation test and integration test
- Traceability, source version control, bug tracking system, coding rules compliance
- Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)
- Rigorous mindset, attention to details
- Fluent in English, French or Italian would be an asset
Preferred Professional Experience/Knowledge
- Good understanding and proven experience working under software project methodologies (Waterfall, V-Cycle or Agile)
- Experience with designing software products in an FDA or other regulated industry
- Advanced software architecture skills (UML, design patterns, SOA)
- User Interface frameworks: Win32 GDI, Winforms, WPF/XAML
- Knowledge of test frameworks and tools (vstest, googleTest, devOps, etc…)
- Experience with CANopen in industrial applications (preferred CIA425)
- Strong interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication
- Team player on internal/external, national/international teams
- Autonomous, must be able to work with minimal supervision
