Development Engineer - System Integration Troubleshooter - python/analysis/multidisciplinary /system integration/English
Project/Role:
For our partner Roche Diagnostics in Rotkreuz we are searching for a highly qualified Development Engineer - System Integration Troubleshooter. The role is a contract position for 12 months (with strong possibility of extension).

As part of the Roche Molecular Diagnostics (RMD) organization, the New Analyzer Project develops molecular diagnostic systems for bringing polymerase chain reaction (PCR) based testing to the point-of-care environment.
Main Tasks:
As Development Engineer - System Integration in the New Analyzer Project, your main responsibilities will consist of (but will not be limited to):
- Conducting root-cause investigations of systemic issues found during development or escalated from field or Operations in all life cycle phases (from early feasibility to product care), and collaborate with other functions do develop solutions for complex issues
- Building up subject matter expertize and providing support to the RMD Development Teams (Assay-, Software- and Instrument-Development), Global Customer Support (GCS), Case Investigation and Resolution (CIR) and Operations. This requires close cross-department interaction in order to gather all information needed to ensure high quality support.
- Setting up Testing scripts and Command Lines with R&D Tool/Phyton eg used for Reliability set up.
- Independent planning and implementation of complex internal and external sub-projects. Technical representation of the Technical Project Manager or Team Leader within specific working groups
- Conduct integration development activities on system component level, thereby closely interact with project teams, and participating and coordinating with other internal groups and departments.
- Performing statistical data analysis to support root-cause investigation & problem solving, risk assessment, product development and process improvement.

Must Haves:
Minimum 3 years of work experience in the development of diagnostic systems in a System Integration or related field
Troubleshooting experience and a "systems thinking" mindset/multidisciplinary
Able to work on multiple projects at the same time, in small teams and deal with priority changes in a high-paces work environment
Nice to Haves:
Experience in medical technology
GxP Experience
Strong analytical and interdisciplinary thinking
Experience in statistical data Analysis
Education:
At least an HF degree in Biomedical Engineering or equivalent
Language:
English fluent in written and spoken
German fluent in written and spoken
