Our client, an international bank, headquartered in Switzerland is looking for an experienced Java Developer to take part in a 12 month project.
Job description:
In this role you will...
-Implement and deliver high quality software solutions/components for the credit risk platform that conforms to architectural standards.
-Manage and own significant development tasks end to end.
-Demonstrate superior collaboration skills in working closely with other development, testing and implementation teams to roll out important regulatory and business improvement programs
-You will be working in a cross-functional agile team in Zurich
Your expertise
-Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science/related field
-Experience in an agile team of software developers and test engineers
-Experience building applications using Java/J2EE technologies
-Hands-on with core Java, Spring, Hibernate and React/Typescript
-Experience with Oracle or other Relational DB
-Experience with test automation tools like Cucumber and Selenium, also understand and practice TDD
-Experience developing software using open source JVM languages like Java, Scala, Groovy etc
-Experience building on OS like RHEL and Solaris
-Prefereably worked in Financial industry domain
