Senior Quantitative Python Developer (100%) (m/f/d)

Duration: 6 MM+
Main tasks:
- Developing, enhancing and maintaining and supporting existing actuarial/risk modeling applications written in Python / PySpark
- Interacting with analytical oriented user groups for requirements gathering
- Interact with IT professionals that support you in your analytical tool development
Main qualifications
- High proficiency in Python and knowledge of the Python ecosystem
- Solid Object-Oriented and Functional Programming skills with good understanding of design patterns and principles
- Experience in agile software development and practices (TDD, Pair Programming, Refactoring,…)
- Experience with big data (Hadoop) and Apache Spark/PySpark is a big plus
- Experience with Linux using bash and exposure to Artifactory and Docker is a plus
- Relevant business experience in an international (re) insurance company or in financial sector with exposure to Pricing or Risk Modelling or Actuarial tools development
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or equivalent experience
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with others in an international and global team
- Good communication skills
- Very good English skills
