A global Swiss Insurance Company is looking for a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer. The client values Platform as a Service (PaaS) offerings and is starting their journey to Azure.

Tasks:

- Support the developers to create reliable, secure and performant infrastructure components.
- Create and manage set-ups using Databricks, Data Factory, App Service and Data Lake storage.
- Play a lead role in shaping and delivering the cloud architecture, while instilling knowledge and best practices into the existing team of Software Engineers.

Requirements:

- Have practical experience of the Azure DevOps ecosystem and constantly keep up-to-speed with the latest developments.
- Have demonstrable experience deploying infrastructure components to Azure.
- Be able to to configure CI and CD pipelines.
- Work by default with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and be fluid with tools in this space e.g. PowerShell, Azure Resource Manager templates.
- Understand the importance of security and be able to build a solution which keeps critical information secure today and tomorrow.
- Be able to work with development teams, information security and other areas to address their needs and create an infrastructure set-up which meets all internal and external requirements.
- Azure certifications will make your application stand-out, but practical experience is valued the most.
- Be fluent in English and be able to communicate complicated concepts simply and precisely (written and verbal).
