For a project at our client‘s site, an international bank based in Zurich, we are looking for a motivated


Business Process Analyst - Compliance

The role is within the COO Organization and you will be reporting  to the Head of Planning & Execution. A number of process gaps and manual workarounds are currently undocumented. Numerous new compliance tools and processes are now being implemented.



Your Qualifications:


  • 3+ years experience as Business Process Analyst with focus in process review, design, and documentation, preferably within the financial environment

  • Experience in analyzing an as-is situation, development of a gap analysis, and definition of a target state

  • Excellent project and process management skills as well as very strong communication skills

  • Capable of providing clear reasoning in succinct slides and straightforward business cases

  • Experience in compliance, particularly client onboarding process experience (KYC, CID) would be of advantage

  • Strong skills in MS Office and related tools are required (PowerPoint, Excel, and process modeling tools in particular)

  • Fluent in English, German would be a plus



Your Responsibilities:


  • Review existing process documentation and identify gaps / shortcomings

  • Liaise with process stakeholders to obtain input and feedback

  • Document end-to-end process flows including external stakeholders and external dependencies

  • Identify and document missing process steps and / or major process workarounds / inefficiencies

  • Develop an integrated, high-level, end-to-end process landscape that includes the mapping of major workarounds and inefficiencies identified

  • Perform root cause analysis and develop short business case assessments for required improvements

  • Develop a set of prioritized improvement requirements for processes and tools based upon review results

  • Provide support for strategic change efforts to implement agreed process and tool updates
