FIX - Connectivity Engineer/trading specialist vacancy for a globally operating Zurich based company in the financial sector.
Your experience/skills:
- 7+ years of work experience as a Java Developer or in a similar role such as Software Development, Architecture, Engineering or Production Support in the financial or banking industry
- Deep understanding of FIX protocol, broker/exchange connectivity and other relevant industry standards such as Bloomberg/Reuters etc.
- Profound knowledge of Front Office trading and order management systems
- Ability to think analytically and perform detailed investigation on end-to-end flows within a complex landscape
- Excellent communication skills within the team and with external business and IT partners
- Languages: English, fluent in written and spoken, German is advantageous
Your tasks:
- Performing daily duties as a FIX/Connectivity Site Reliability Engineer within ITS Cross-Asset Execution
- Designing and implementing FIX and electronic gateway components of the Trading Order and Execution systems
- Ensuring efficient onboarding of new clients and preservation of current clients on the electronic trading platform
- Supporting production and analysis of end-to-end trading flows
