Are you an experienced System Engineer (m/f/x) looking for a new project? Our client, a renown pharmaceuticals company with locations and laboratories worldwie offers an interesting and exciting opportunity for freelance System Engineers (m/f).You should be willing to work in cross-functional teams in order to contribute to the development of software as medical device (SaMD). As a main task, you will support various development activities by using state-of-the-art system engineering practices.
Your role as System Engineer (m/f/x)
- Design and implementation of a system engineering approach for the development and life cycle management of complex products and platforms
- Guidance of the development team by demonstrating strong technical know-how at system level
- Translation of both user and business needs into system requirements (Requirement management)
- Active maintenance and monitoring of the traceability from requirements to verification
- Communication with cross-divisional teams and stakeholders
- Management of external vendors, leading of technical discussions
Required skills
- Software and System design with UML diagrams
- Expertise in Web and Mobile application design, development and testing
- Experience with Cloud and IoT architecture
- Knowledge of best practices for software development (methodology and tooling)
- Experience with research, prototypes and PoC activities
- Experience with cyber security and performance requirement
- Bachelor of higher degree in Systems Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical, Engineering, Computer Science or other relevant disciplines
- Minimal 5 years of experience in medical device or other highly regulated industries
- Prior Experience covering the medical device SaMD development from concept to commercial launch
- Well-versed in medical device or SaMD development, Quality Management System and regulatory processes (ISO 13485; IEC 60601, 62304, 82304)
- Strong communication skills
