Project Manager Senior vacancy for a globally operating Lausanne based company in the manufacturing sector.Your experience/skills:
- 5+ years of work experience within IT projects and programs management
- Practical knowledge of datacenter relocations and network migrations projects
- Outstanding project management skills paired with a strong background in IT infrastructure and network
- Professionalism in dealing with stakeholders
- University degree in a relevant profession like IT Infrastructure or similar, a Master's Degree is favorable
- Languages: English and French, fluent in written and spoken
Your tasks:
- Performing network transitions including bandwidth upgrades, VPN client solutions, local Wi-Fi solutions, web proxy, network support model and firewall configuration adjustments
- Decommissioning network and Infrastructure of the old hardware, servers and storages
- Relocating of datacenters with focus on Microsoft Azure migration and connectivity between new and old datacenters
- Deploying IT infrastructure and workplace improvements
- Establishing technical policies and analysing business needs
- Identifying different RFP and delivering instructions for the different work sections
- Supervising the streams deliverables along with overseeing the schedule and progression
- Coordinating the different work streams and reporting to the program management
- Monitoring scope changes, schedule, budget and risks while also reporting about the project streams
