Test Analyst (100%) ISTQB/Agile/Finance/Banking/German - ZurichProject/Role:
For our customer, a renowned Banking company in Switzerland, we are looking for an experienced Test Analyst with experience in Test Analysis and Execution for multiple projects, ensuring timely test activities, reporting and the delivery of all relevant artefacts along the BJB project methodologies. The role is contract position initially for 12 months (with strong possibility of extension) in Zurich Switzerland.
Main Tasks:
- Collaborate closely with other team members and departments, support Test Management
- Responsible for testing within a project
- Gain awareness of business application, perform requirement analysis and provide required test coverage
- Test impact analysis and test case maintenance
- Planning and execution of functional, system, system integration and regression testing
- Detect and track software defects and inconsistencies
- Apply quality engineering principals throughout the Agile product lifecycle
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience as a Software Tester within the financial industry sector
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Able to search or modify test data in database
- In-depth understanding of various testing techniques, agile and waterfall methodologies
- ISTQB or similar certificate (foundation level at minimum)
- Target oriented, solution driven, flexible and pushing forward the project
- Private banking background Preferred with Knowledge of client advisory processes
Education/Experience:
- University Degree in computer science or IT/Computer Science/Business Informatics background equivalent qualification
