Fluid Biomarker Scientist (m/f/d)

Main tasks:
- Assessment of protein/metabolite biomarker technology landscape and opportunities within a therapeutic indication focusing initially on neurodegeneration
- Expertise with assay technologies for protein-based biomarkers including ELISA- based and high-sensitivity protein assay platforms
- Expertise with design, implementation and analysis of proteomics and metabolomics Assessment of biomarker responses
- Expertise in assessment and development of novel biomarker approaches in fluid or Tissue samples (e.g. blood, CSF, biopsy)
- Build partnerships with external partners/CROs to assess and develop new assay technologies for neuroscience indications with an initial focus on neurodegeneration
- Support management of outsourced activities (technical input, document and data Review) GCP and Regulatory compliance
- Create GCP-compliant documentation for clinical projects (e.g., study plans, alidation reports, and study reports)
- Responsible for compliance with Safety, Health and Environment guidelines (SHE)
- Responsible for maintaining required training in Good Clinical Practice (GCP)
Main qualifications
- You are a motivated scientist with experience in strategies and assay technologies on measure protein, proteomics, and metabolite biomarkers in clinical neuroscience indications
- Advanced degree (PhD or equivalent) in life sciences with emphasis on molecular Biology, biochemistry and clinical biomarkers
- Emphasis on knowledge of neuroscience biomarkers particularly neurodegeneration and inflammation in the CNS
- Profound working experience
