For one of our clients we are looking for a Finance Associate (Collections)

Task description:

The client is seeking an individual with good experience in AR/Collections to join a team of professionals. The ideal candidate needs to be a team player and posses the ability to multitask in a fast paced, exciting environment. The team is comprised of dedicated, intelligent individuals and we are looking to add to this team to keep up with the positive growth they are currently experiencing.

Main responsibilities:

· Following up with client AP department through Phone calls or emails to check payment status of Past Due Invoices.
· Share collection status updates with Client Executive/Account Ops team on a periodic basis.
· Send weekly/monthly statement of accounts to client AP.
· Liaise with CE and Account Ops teams to resolve client issues.
· Expected to prepare reports in excel related to ageing bucket movements.
· Working on the help desk tickets raised by the account teams
· Show judgment on when to elevate issues/requests or when to resolve independently
· Work on special projects as opportunities present themselves
· Printing the invoice copies and uploading them on Result Space
· Replying on daily emails
· Escalating the issue to the Track Lead/Manager proactively
· Doing Cash Application – applying money received in bank to relevant invoices.

Required skills:

· Good experience in a Collections environment
· Good spoken and written communication skills
· Ability to speak and understand German/Local language.
· Team player able to adapt/adhere to changing priorities
· Ability to complete deadline oriented tasks with minimal supervision
· Detail oriented as well as strong analytical skills
· Proven work ethic
· High energy and enthusiasm
· Ability to influence people and drive process improvement.
· Well-developed interpersonal skills – ability to establish credibility, make decisions, and forge relationships
· MS office skills, especially Excel and Outlook.
· Working knowledge of Oracle Financial Systems a plus
