StreamBase Developer - Complex Event Processing Platform (m/f/d)

Main tasks:
- Development of features for applications (Trading and Pricing area) built in StreamBase technology, which requires experience in high throughput, low-latency and high availability systems
- Development of StreamBase Unit Tests, performance benchmarking and back testing simulations
- Participate in the System Integration Testing and get involved with the User Acceptance Testing
- Take full responsibility over the application QA cycle
- Set up and improve continuous integration, continuous delivery and automatic testing system
- Take part in the Linux system administration, monitoring and scripting to setup, automate and optimize application’s lifecycle
- Hands-on troubleshooting of business-critical applications during business hours with low response times
- Deployment of applications before market opening or after market closing
Main qualifications
- Profound experience in software development
- Significant experience using the StreamBase Complex Event Processing platform
- High-level Java experience with multi-threaded and/or asynchronous programming
- Profound Linux administration and shell scripting skills
- Relational database experience such as Oracle and SQL server as well as experience with No-SQL databases (e.g. MongoDB)
- Experience with enterprise messaging (e.g. RabbitMQ and/or TIBCO Rendezvous)
- Financial industry (FX and Structured Products) experience is a plus
- Fluent English skills, both verbally and written; German is a plus
