AS/400 System Specialist (minimum 5 years in a Banking/Financial environment)collaborative worker who is also capable of working on projects on his/her own initiative
100% based in UBS location in Zurich
strong written and spoken English
Hands on experience with:
- user support across multiple countries/time zones
- monitoring day to day activities, backups, interfaces, reporting feeds
- operating system installs & upgrades
- maintaining & applying PTFs
- use of SST & DST to perform system maintenance tasks such as disk add/replacements
- providing operational support, problem determination, escalation and management
- ticket handling, change management, backup scheduling and management of multiple BRMS networks, Control M
- backup and recovery of whole systems
- capacity management and work management
- hardware configuration, new systems and upgrades
- IBMi SAN storage experience
