Sourcing Manager Media & Digital vacancy requiring profound Supplier Management knowledge for a globally operating Zurich based company in the luxury goods sector.Your experience/skills:
- 3+ years of professional experience in a similar role, ideally with market knowhow
- Expertise in procurement including knowledge of regional and global markets, purchasing guidelines, support legal documentation, claim and risk management
- Profound MS Office skills, familiarity with analytical and strategic procurement systems such as SAP Business Data Warehouse, ARIBA and Livelink is desirable
- Background in supporting category management along with practice in managing suppliers including selection, qualification and maintaining a sufficient supplier base
- Competency of handling third parties as well as of providing high quality customer service
- Languages: fluent English and both written and spoken, further languages are a plus
Your tasks:
- Ensuring compliance to legal requirements as well as internal policies and procedures while also driving the continuous improvement of procurement processes and systems
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders and experts on the requirements considering relevant procurement aspects and aligning with business stakeholders as well as category management
- Establishing an adequate supplier base by monitoring performance and assisting relationship management with regards to qualification and development along with searching suppliers based on existing suppliers, recommendations and external sources
- Implementing Business Data Warehouse data to support sourcing recommendations
- Supporting contracting during internal contract sign-off process and ensuring the contract is signed by authorised signatures and executing assignments concerning the Source-to-Contract process
- Acting as primary point of contact for claim resolution and warranty issues
- Cooperating with the procurement excellence function to guarantee sustainable sourcing solutions along with identifying possible improvements in the ordering process and spending
