Data Migration Specialist vacancy requiring profound PowerShell and SharePoint knowledge for a globally operating Zurich based company in the financial sector.Your experience/skills:
- 3+ years' profound experience with Sharepoint, PowerShell and preferably with further languages such as C#
- Proficiency in analysing SharePoint sites and content along with engineering solutions to migrate content from on premise file shares like Sharepoint 2016 to cloud file shares like SharePoint Online
- Profound knowledge of the SharePoint Object Model, ideally with REST API experience
- Expertise in managing site collections, sites, webs, pages, lists and libraries as well as in managing user groups, permissions and access rights
- Background in Office 365, especially SharePoint Online and OneDrive for Business is highly beneficial, Git experience is a plus
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken
Your tasks:
- Developing and maintaining the migration codebase
- Performing migrations from SharePoint 2016 to SharePoint Online as well as from local documents and My Sites to OneDrive for Business
- Using ShareGate migration tool for the execution of the migrations
- Providing 3rd level support and resolving any defects resulting from the migration process
