Automation engineer with experience in DeltaV programming to enable effective and efficient review of:
Functional specification (FS) documentations supplied by the engineering partner working on the HDPB Plant 1 project.
Perform checks of the accuracy and evaluate changes to the P&IDs and other project engineering documentation which may impact the FS.
Attend relevant project review automation review meetings FS review
Preparation of Biofuture program and HDPB Plant1 automation documentation for based on the Plant0 standard for transmittal to Emerson.
Review test specification documentation from the HDPB Plant1 project.
Work in close co-ordination with the NTO Biofuture program lead automation engineer.
Support the NTO Biofuture automation program lead in providing a knowledge interface between Plant0 automation, the Biofuture program automation and the HDPB Plant1 roll out project.
Support VFAT activities when required.
Work activities will be carried out in Switzerland.
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of experience as an Automation expert within GMP, regulated environments.
Pharmaceutical/Biological industry background preferred
Expertise in a broad range of Automation areas such as process control, CIP & SIP, OEM control systems and distributed control systems (Emerson DeltaV including Batch control is a mandatory)
Experienced in working with P&IDs, PFDs, reading and interpreting process descriptions.
Experience and knowledge of working with strict change control
Reading, Reviewing and writing functional specifications (past experience of working with Novartis Matrix style FS documentation would be useful but is not a mandatory)
Ability to work in a cross function organization with Process, engineering and user elements.
Team player and problem solver, self-driven and able to work with minimum supervision.
Fluent in written and spoken English is mandatory, written and spoken German is beneficial but not a must.
