Technical Environment Manager
Role & Responsibilities
? Manage non-production environments throughout the project and applications
lifecycle, setup, quality controls
? Act as central point to coordinate the Incidents, Changes and evolution in addition to
advising the teams for the best usage of the test environment
? Support the Release Management process by performing all the operational tasks
relating to the preparation and quality checks
? Suggests, design, obtain validation for all the necessary automations
? Support the Release and Environment manager in delivering an aligned, consistent and
quality oriented set of environments to match the Bank’s needs
? Raise issues and risks on a timely manner
? Support the development and infrastructure teams during and outside of Bank releases
? Provide a single point of contact for all queries
? Advise and help improving the environment management processes
As the the Environment Manager is a transversal role, it is also requiring strong soft skills,
such as (non-exhaustive list)
? Communication
? Coordination
? Proactiveness
? Problem-solving
? Analysis and troubleshooting
Qualifications
? 8-10 years of experience in information systems operations environment in systems
analysis or development
? Expert in distributed software configuration management practices
? Advanced knowledge of software development lifecycle
? Demonstrated experience in continuous integration implementation
? Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional work teams toward task
completion
? Demonstrated effective leadership, communication and analytical skills
? Advanced written and verbal communication skills are a must
? Expected to be able to work under pressure.
Tools
? Good knowledge on project management tools, MS Office, MS Project, JIRA
Have a very good experience with an automation solution, such as BMC Control-M
? Experience in SVN, TFS, Git, Artifactory, Jenkins.
