For a longer term project at our client ‘s site, an international bank based in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced
Senior Java Developer – Java 8+ / Spring Boot
Your Qualifications:
- 5+ years’ experience as a software developer using Java 8+ and Spring Boot
- High level of experience with low latency platforms (developing low latency, high availability multithreaded code)
- Strong understanding in java technology fundamentals and design patterns used in real-time transaction processing systems
- Experience in test automation (unit, integration, acceptance tests etc.)
- Demonstrable experience of good OO design and programming
- Understanding of Enterprise Integration Patterns (Spring integration or Apache Camel)
- Proven track record of developing enterprise, multi-tier applications in particular web services, client server and server side application programming inclucing data management aspects
- Experienced in working closely with stakeholders on the analysis, design and development of new features
- Mentoring experience, especially with developers in different locations
- Fluent in English
Your Responsibilities:
- Tasks related to the entire lifecycle of product development, i.e. contact with stakeholders, gathering requirements and analysis, design of architecture, implementation, design and write different types of tests, packaging, deployment, support and maintenance software in production
- Writing applications responsible for Order and Trade Management
- Working with other team members on the requirements, preparing the releases and delivering the applications to production
- Continuous integration testing and related documentation updates
- Actively participate in the design and technology review of the applications written in the team
- Provide support for the existing systems where required
